Sellellah Okoth
Senior Compliance and Enforcement Officer of the National Environment Management Authority, Kenya
“Pollution Insights tool was a very nice tool. I could pick a few areas in Kenya that are actually marked as key sources of NO2 and...according to the map...from TROPOMI was actually indicating that NO2 is quite a big problem in the City of Nairobi and I think that's a point that actually needs to be taken."
Nahomi Ferruzca
Member of the Air Quality Monitoring Center from the State of Queretaro, Mexico
“Dr. Benjamin de Foy showed us how to use various maps that are generated by satellites in order to predict or have forecasts on how the air quality is going to be for us. In the state of Queretaro, we are trying to innovate in this part of forecasting, so it will be very useful.”
Alex Ndyabakira
Lead of Air Quality Management Team, Kampala Capital City Authority
"The Pollution Insight tool is wonderful because it gives you an idea about how your pollution is generated. Our main focus using this tool is to now evaluate what our mitigation measures are achieving."
Rahmawati Mustari Mustam
Head of subdivision of Enviromental monitoring in Jakarta Environment Agency.
“I am very glad to have a chance to observe, listen to, and learn about various [air quality] innovations. Particularly how to monitor and forecast air quality as done by other countries.”
